Baseball Recap: Dana Hills Comes Up Short

Dana Hills lost against West Ranch back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dolphins took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Dana Hills got a good showing from Gavin Giese, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The Dolphins are 4-2 when Giese allows two or fewer earned runs, but 8-13-1 otherwise.

At the plate, Dana Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Bateson, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Rudy Pascarelli also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Dana Hills' loss dropped their record down to 12-15-1. As for West Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Dana Hills nor West Ranch have any future games scheduled.
