James Rubio Game Report: @ El Rancho

James Rubio produced his best game of the campaign on Wednesday: he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his eighth in a row with less than two walks. This year, he has an ERA of 1.71 over 32.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Rubio and Santa Fe will host La Serna at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs haven't beaten the Lancers recently, having gone 0-10 since May of 2021.
