Baseball Game Preview: Rockridge Rockets vs. Orion Chargers

Rockridge hasn't had much luck against Orion recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rockets will face off against the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Rockridge couldn't beat Annawan-Wethersfield on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Rockets fell just short of the Titans by a score of 8-7. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Orion's offense. They came up short against Fulton on Wednesday, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Chargers haven't been shut out since back in March.

Orion's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Rockridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
