Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Marshall

Lincoln is 0-10 against Marshall since January of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Lincoln Tigers will take on the Marshall Barristers at 2:30 p.m.

Lincoln is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 8-0 to Marshall. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1108th, while the Barristers are ranked 254th).

The victory (which was Marshall's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.
