Baseball Recap: Cushing Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Phillips Academy, Cushing Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Phillips Exeter Academy Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Penguins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Phillips Exeter Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Cushing Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair will be back at it again later today.
