Volleyball Recap: Layla Seremet Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Fuquay - Varina + How To Watch

Clayton lost to Fuquay - Varina back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Comets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bengals.

While Clayton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fuquay - Varina scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 21-25, 25-19, 27-25.

Clayton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Layla Seremet out in front who had six digs and five assists. That's the most assists Seremet has posted since back in August. Zion Coleman also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

The victory got Clayton back to even at 5-5. As for Fuquay - Varina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
