Softball Recap: Graham Comes Up Short

Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Richlands Blue Tornado. The G-Men were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Tornado from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Abby Houchins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Graham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Booth, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Richlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Graham will face off against Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richlands, they will take on Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
