Soccer Recap: McGuffey Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Allegheny last Thursday, McGuffey came back down to earth. The Highlanders came up short against the Elizabeth Forward Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. McGuffey have struggled against Elizabeth Forward recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

McGuffey's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Elizabeth Forward, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McGuffey will challenge rival Seton LaSalle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Forward is set to square off against their familiar foe East Allegheny at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
