Softball Recap: East Limestone Comes Up Short

East Limestone was the 3-2 winner over Florence when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The East Limestone Indians fell just short of the Florence Falcons by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Florence, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Florence beat East Limestone by a score of 5-4 later that day.
