Softball Recap: Bishop Ready Has No Trouble Against Grandview Heights

Bishop Ready's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Grandview Heights Bobcats. This was a revenge game for the Silver Knights: when they faced off against the Bobcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 19-9 loss.

Mila Gerardi was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olyvia Piper, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

Bishop Ready's record is now 5-10. As for Grandview Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will take on Buckeye Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grandview Heights, they will face off against Grove City Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
