Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-50 to the Georgetown Bulldogs.

Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Georgetown, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Phoenix will head out to face off against Frederick A. Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Georgetown, they will challenge St. Mary at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
