Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Diego Pinedo stepped things up a notch to give Banning the 'W'. Pinedo turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off only two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
