Tompkins is a perfect 10-0 against Morton Ranch since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Tompkins will head out to take on Morton Ranch at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tompkins has four straight wins, Morton Ranch has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tompkins is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over Mayde Creek on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, while it was Morton Ranch who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Paetow who put up more. Morton Ranch took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paetow.

Zach Warren was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed over his last six contests.

On the hitting side, Morton Ranch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Heiliger, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits Heiliger has posted since March 1st. Chris Soto was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Morton Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Tompkins, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Everything went Tompkins' way against Morton Ranch in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Tompkins made off with an 11-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tompkins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
