Soccer Preview: Widefield vs. Coronado
Widefield is 0-8 against Coronado since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Gladiators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Coronado's draw makes their record 8-1-2 this season. As for Widefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Widefield might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Coronado in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Gladiators were down 5-0.
