Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Blue Devils vs. Southview Cougars

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-12, which was the final score in Springfield's tilt against Whitmer on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Southview played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Anthony Wayne and fell 77-35. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Springfield will have to keep a close watch on Ava Willis and Mikayla Dorn, a pair of players who had a big impact on Southview's prior game. Willis posted four points, while Dorn earned four points and six boards.
