Basketball Recap: Clayton-Bradley Academy Comes Up Short

Clayton-Bradley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders. The match was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Blazers couldn't quite close it out.

Temple Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Mueller, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 20 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Mueller has scored at least a third of Temple Baptist Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Silvian Tomescu, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 12 points.

Clayton-Bradley Academy's record now sits at 2-8. As for Temple Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
