Rockingham County came out on top against Reidsville on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Cougars walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 back in March.

Hudson Deel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Bryson Apple, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Rockingham County and bumps their season record up to 19-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 9-12 Northeast Guilford and 9-11 Reidsville. As for Reidsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Coming up, Rockingham County will head out to challenge Northeast Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Reidsville, they will be playing at home against T.W. Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.13 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
