Beallsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Cole, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Frontier had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Shadyside two weeks ago, falling 10-0. The Cougars have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Beallsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Frontier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Beallsville's way against Frontier when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Beallsville made off with a 16-6 win. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
