Baseball Recap: Cocke County's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Cocke County was the 1-0 winner over Carter when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Cocks took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Hornets on Tuesday.

Cocke County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-12. As for Carter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Coming up, Cocke County will venture away from home to face off against Cherokee at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carter, they will host Anderson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
