Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hilliard Davidson). They walked away with a 50-43 win over the Central Crossing Comets on Tuesday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Despite the loss, Central Crossing had strong showings from Savannah Hamilton, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds, and Cordelia Watkins, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Hamilton's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Hilliard Davidson moved to 2-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Central Crossing, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Hilliard Davidson will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Olentangy Liberty at 7:30 p.m. Hilliard Davidson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Central Crossing, they will head out on the road to challenge Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
