Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Regis Jesuit turned things around against ThunderRidge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Grizzlies.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Emme Phillips went supernova, getting 19 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (12).
Phillips wasn't the only good servers: Regis Jesuit was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Rock Canyon earned a 3-1 win over Heritage on Thursday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Rock Canyon was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-20, 25-13.
Regis Jesuit's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Rock Canyon, their record is now 12-1.
