Soccer Recap: Dougherty Comes Up Short

Dougherty and Peach County pushed the score to 8-1 the last time they played Peach County, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. Dougherty fell just short of Peach County by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Dougherty couldn't quite close it out.

Dougherty is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Peach County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Dougherty will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Sherwood Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Peach County, they will head out on the road to face off against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
