Basketball Game Preview: Tekonsha Indians vs. Burr Oak Bobcats

Tekonsha hasn't had much luck against Burr Oak recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tekonsha Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Burr Oak Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. Tekonsha will be strutting in after a victory while Burr Oak will be coming in after a defeat.

Tekonsha is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Pansophia Academy with a sharp 48-27 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Burr Oak duked it out with Climax-Scotts on Thursday. Burr Oak fell 39-30 to Climax-Scotts.

Burr Oak's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points on average over those games. As for Tekonsha, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Tekonsha was dealt a bruising 60-14 defeat at the hands of Burr Oak in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Tekonsha avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
