Basketball Recap: Frazee Comes Up Short

Frazee lost against Park Rapids back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Frazee Hornets fell 69-57 to the Park Rapids Panthers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Ryan Carroll, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 boards for Park Rapids. The dominant performance gave Carroll a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Hirt, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 15 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Frazee's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Park Rapids, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frazee will venture away from home to face off against Barnesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnesville will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Frazee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Park Rapids, they will challenge Pequot Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
