The Walkersville Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Urbana Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Urbana entered their tilt with Oakdale on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They strolled past Oakdale with points to spare, taking the game 71-55. The Hawks pushed the score to 60-36 by the end of the third, a deficit Oakdale cut but never quite recovered from.

Urbana's win came from a few key players Walkersville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mason Johnson, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Diego Orellana, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 18 points.

Walkersville now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Urbana, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Walkersville was able to grind out a solid win over Urbana in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 60-52.
