            Basketball Recap: Oklahoma City S Storm vs. Luther Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Oklahoma City S came into Thursday's   matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past the Luther Lions with  points to spare on Thursday, taking the game  58-40.
 Oklahoma City S's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lael Eddens led the charge by  going 5 for 9  en route to 12  points. Another player making a difference was  Israel Fugett, who  posted 11 points and six  boards.
 Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   AJ Hattenhauer, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 19  points and nine  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Milligan, who  put up 11 points and eight  boards.
Oklahoma City S's win bumped their record up to 10-20. As for Luther,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-9.
 Oklahoma City S wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  52-37  victory against Alva on the 24th. Luther has also  already played their next game,  a  54-33  defeat against Star-Spencer on the 24th.
