Basketball Recap: North Stokes Takes a Loss

North Stokes suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the East Wilkes Cardinals, falling 76-53. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 79-70.

North Stokes has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for East Wilkes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Stokes will head out to square off against South Stokes at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. South Stokes will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something North Stokes surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Wilkes, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Wilkes at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
