Softball Recap: Jackson County Central Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Jackson County Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Randolph Rockets by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

This is the second loss in a row for Jackson County Central and nudges their season record down to 19-5. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Randolph, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-2.

As of now, neither Jackson County Central nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
