Baseball Game Preview: The New Community School Sabers vs. James River HomeSchool Eagles

The New Community School Sabers will take on the James River HomeSchool Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The New Community School has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The New Community School lost 22-2 to Grace Christian School on Thursday. The Sabers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The New Community School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase King, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, James River HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Blue Ridge, falling 17-1.

The New Community School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for James River HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
