Volleyball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

Powell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kelly Walsh Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14.

Powell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Kelly Walsh, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Powell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kemmerer on the 6th. As for Kelly Walsh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bonneville on the 6th.
