Basketball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 49-17 defeat at the hands of the Barbers Hill Eagles. The Rangers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-5.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Barbers Hill, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

Sterling has already played their next contest (against Beaumont United), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Barbers Hill will take on Port Arthur Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
