Basketball Recap: Baker Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Baker had won two straight home games and Parrias Baker did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Baker Hornets took down the Davidson Warriors 83-69 thanks in part to Baker, who went 7 of 10 en route to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Eugene Craig, who posted 11 points. Those 11 points gave him a new career-high.

Baker is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davidson, they will face off against Fairhope at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Davidson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
