Baseball Recap: Cherry Hill East Triumphs

Cherry Hill East hadn't done well against Shawnee recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Renegades by a score of 8-3. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Renegades last Monday, they had to take a 11-1 defeat.

Cherry Hill East let Rohan Muttathil and Tristan Perry run wild. Muttathil went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Perry went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Perry a new career-high.

Cherry Hill East now has a winning record of 11-10-2. As for Shawnee, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Cherry Hill East will face off against Burlington Township at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
