Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Acalanes Dons + Official Tickets

The Windsor Jaguars will challenge the Acalanes Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Windsor is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

Windsor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Bishop O'Dowd.

The victory didn't come easy: Bishop O'Dowd scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Acalanes and Las Lomas had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dons put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Dons have beaten the Knights on their court since September 14, 2023.

While Acalanes won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-23.

Acalanes' victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 22-6.

Windsor was able to grind out a solid victory over Acalanes in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
