Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Find Success

The Lafayette Commodores beat the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans 2-0 on Saturday.

Lafayette easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Jackson Prep on the 20th. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Presbyterian Christian on the 20th.
