Elizabethton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the West Greene Buffaloes.

Elizabethton found their leader in sophomore Sydney Minton, who had 12 digs.

When it comes to explaining why West Greene lost, don't look at Baylee Lowe. Despite the final result, she had 14 assists and eight digs. Braelyn Willis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Elizabethton's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for West Greene, they moved to 14-4 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-match winning streak.

Elizabethton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cumberland County on the 27th. As for West Greene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Patrick Henry on the 27th.
