Crater has gone 9-1 against Springfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crater Comets will face off against the Springfield Millers at 7:00 p.m. Springfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crater, who comes in off a win.

Crater is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since December 4, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 victory over Churchill. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Meanwhile, Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 74-61 to North Eugene. While losing is never fun, the Millers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Highlanders are ranked 55th).

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Crater, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Crater strolled past Springfield in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 80-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crater since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
