Basketball Recap: Tahquitz Takes a Loss

Tahquitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Elsinore Tigers 71-37. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-16.

Elsinore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Boatman, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Kamrynn Nathan was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Tahquitz's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Elsinore, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tahquitz will square off against San Jacinto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Jacinto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season. As for Elsinore, they will challenge West Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Elsinore's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
