Recap: Antioch Sequoits vs. Timothy Christian Trojans
The Antioch Sequoits's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 37-33 W over Timothy Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Antioch, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Heidi Rathmann continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Antioch's points. Macie Volkmar was another key contributor, scoring six points.
When it comes to explaining why Timothy Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elisabeth Van Den Berg. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Van Den Berg's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Antioch pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Timothy Christian, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-7.

Timothy Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Walther Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on December 27, 2023. Hopefully Walther Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
