Alexandria waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Albertville Aggies with a sharp 8-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on Saturday.

Khloe England spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Lumpkin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Briley Bright, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Alexandria hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Alexandria's record now sits at 6-2. As for Albertville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
