Softball Recap: Fort Scott Comes Up Short

Fort Scott was the 11-1 winner over Pittsburg when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 10-9 on Thursday.

Fort Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pittsburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Pittsburg will face off against Girard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Scott will be paying especially close attention to the Dragons' game: after the Dragons faces off against Field Kindley, they'll take on Fort Scott again at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th.
