Basketball Recap: Garfield Heights Comes Up Short

Garfield Heights lost against South back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Garfield Heights Bulldogs fell 50-37 to the South Rebels. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South was led to victory by Sydney Isabella and Maddie Luciano. Isabella posted 19 points, while Luciano scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Boruszkowski, who put up eight points.

Garfield Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for South, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Garfield Heights has already played their next game (against Bedford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South will square off against Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
