            Baseball Recap: Canisius Crusaders vs. Clarence Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Canisius was the  5-0 winner over Clarence when they last played one another  back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders took  a  13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils on Saturday.
  Nick Scime made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 1-for-1 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  he has  hit this season.  Maxwell Bahr was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Canisius' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Clarence, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record  this season.
 Canisius will welcome St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Clarence, they are taking a road trip to  take on Frontier  at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
