Argyle's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against the Grapevine Mustangs as the Argyle Eagles made off with a 4-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Grapevine with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayden Ayala (2), Austin Roberts, and Bentley Mitteis.

The victory (which was Argyle's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matches. As for Grapevine, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Argyle wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Richland on the 22nd. As for Grapevine, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Grapevine challenge the Denton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
