Softball Recap: St. Louis Picks Up 11th Consecutive Win

St. Louis came tearing into Saturday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Breckenridge Huskies 20-3. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Louis' victory bumped their record up to 19-4-1. As for Breckenridge, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, St. Louis will head out on the road to take on Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckenridge, they will challenge Vestaburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
