Basketball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball lost against Manteca back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffaloes. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Tristen Debenedetti, who shot 58% from the field en route to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Debenedetti's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelo Fernando, who posted eight points.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Manteca, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Kimball has already played their next contest, a 0-0 win against Cordova on the 4th. As for Manteca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 82-52 loss against Rocklin on the 4th.
