Salem entered their tilt with Franklin on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 15-5 win. The Rocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Salem pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will face off against Brighton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.45 runs per game on average), something the Rocks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Belleville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
