Soccer Recap: Cairo-Durham Comes Up Short

Cairo-Durham was the 4-2 winner over Coxsackie-Athens when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 5-3 to the Riverhawks on Monday.

Cairo-Durham now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Coxsackie-Athens, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cairo-Durham will face off against rival Taconic Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coxsackie-Athens is set to square off against their familiar foe Watervliet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
