After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Enterprise, San Juan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Moapa Valley Pirates 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since April 9, 2024.

San Juan let Branten Bethea and Jake Ivins run wild. Bethea scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Ivins scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. What's more, Bethea posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Bilbao, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

San Juan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Moapa Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

San Juan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 win against Duchesne on the 8th. As for Moapa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Chaparral on the 10th.
