Football Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jericho last Saturday, MacArthur came back down to earth. The Generals were beaten by the Garden City Trojans 46-7 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost eight in a row.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Garden City, their record is now 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. MacArthur is set to challenge their familiar foe New Hyde Park Memorial on Saturday. Meanwhile, Garden City will square off against rival Mepham on Saturday.
